Black's part of Merged Zamasu got obliterated with Final Kamehameha

So, I've seen this theory on YouTube and some forums. Vegetto yells "This'll end it!" and does his Final Kamehameha. After that, Merged Zamasu gets up, flies up and screams "This is GOD!", but while doing so, his fusion echo voice disappears, indicating the death of Black's part. This also explains confusing s*** like Trunks overpowering him; clearly he isn't stronger than Vegetto, is he?

I don't recall an echo outside of his initial fusion at the end of episode 64. Sounds like a lot of reaching to make the Final Kamehameha mean something when it in fact didn't do s***.

If Black died, it was when Trunks sliced him/them in half, or at least that was his metaphorical death.

There is echo, just like Vegetto's voice is a mixture of both Goku and Vegeta. At first I didn't notice as well, but there was indeed echo in his voice.

I guess I didn't realize that it didn't disappear, I know what you're talking about though. Doesn't he have his echo again after Trunks defeats him?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. He keeps his layered voice even after the Final Kamehameha.

It does disappear. Can't find clear version of full fight in Japanese (there are plenty of s***ty English dubs tho'), but immediately after Final KHH Zamasu flies up and he starts yelling that he's a god in singular Zamasu voice. I know it isn't that hard to notice if I could.

Another proof for that theory is what I call Spiritual Zamasu, the one which tried to become the Universe. I mean, he had regular Zamasu hairstyle, so this was only this part of Merged Zamasu right there. But you could argue that Black just died then when Trunks sliced him up, so I dunno' if that proof is enough.

I just like that theory because it corrects some bulls*** Power Scalling and gives the option of Black not being obliterated from existence by Zeno, but rather being now in Hell.

Hm, yeah, he's right. It's a solo voice after the Final Kamehameha, but dual voice prior to that.

0:23 in the second video. Compare that to 1:10-1:30 in the first video.

If you still can't tell the difference, then it's clearly non-existent to you. However, since at least some people (including me) caught it, then it isn't just someone's ears playing trick on him. He's echoed voice sounds more divine before than after Final Kamehameha.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I always considered the 'Black' part of Merged Zamasu dead after the Spirit Sword split his physical form in two. His physical form, thus mortal parts, were obliterated and his immortal soul ascended to become ... whatever the hell that asspull was. Still, I think Trunks did make good on his promise to his father that he would defeat Black. Just not quite in the way that he had in mind, perhaps.

I really don't hear much of a difference. There's still an echo in his voice after being hit by the Final Kamehameha. Even if there's a subtle change, I wouldn't interpret that as Black's death necessarily, I'd simply assume he'd gotten weaker, which I already assumed given that his immortality was fading and that Trunks beat him.

Seems too subtle to me. If Black's part was supposed to be destroyed by the final kamehameha, they would have indicated it more clearly than with a slight voice change.
