It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Who are your favourite characters in television, be that from comedies, dramas, animated shows etc? Give as many or as few as you'd like. I'll give a couple:

Jack Shephard from Lost - Lost is my favourite TV show and Jack is my favourite character from the show. I'm a sucker for the 'do-it-all, heroic' main character and Jack is one of the best.

Winston from New Girl - New Girl is one of my favourite comedies and every character has their moments, but Winston consistently has me laughing out loud.

Alan Shore from Boston Legal - The combination of great acting and great writing make this character one of my favourites. His dialogue commands attention, be it comedic or talking on more serious matters.

Beast Wars Megatron. He's a cheesy villain on one hand, but on the other he's pretty damn devious.

I mean he managed to put together a small army that comprises of forces that are either loyal, but as dumb as bricks, or those that would gladly take Megatron's head if given the opportunity. Yet somehow, he was able to successfully juggle it all, and still fight the Maximals.

Mike from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul - The man is just pure professionalism and is full of wisdom. Always seems to know what to do, what to say, but not in a way that you get annoyed as him being a mary sue.

Gohan from DBZ - I liked watching his character arc, particularly in the Cell saga. I find him to be very relatable.

1. Sun Wukong~Journey to the West (1996)

Donnie Yen played this character to perfection & infuses so much charisma, charm, playfullyness & right amount of intensity during fights

2. Netero~HXH2011

This epic character initially was so-so. Introduced like a regular perverted old guy. But his role was an integral part of CA Arc & needless to say, I regard him as the strongest ever Hunter before or after his....

3. Billa ~ Billa 2007

It was a character played by Superstar Rajnikanth which later was remaked into 2007 highly stylized version of Billa, portrayed by Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar

By FAR, dopest Don portrayal in Tamil Cinema history

Aku from Samurai Jack is pretty much my favourite villain in all of animation. Nothing comes close to him, the dude is a perfect combination between the purest of evils and greatest sources of entertainment, he can go from terrifying to hilarious in a matter of minutes, go shopping or ordering for a pizza and still remain super intimidating. There's not a single thing I dislike about the guy.

Grover from Sesame Street isn't one of my favourites, but truly one of the most nostalgic for me. Aside from the Cookie Monster, no one made me laugh as much as him, and I'll always remember him for that, for that alone I'll put him here, let's say... As an honorable mention.

David the Gnome is one of the kindest characters I've seen. That's his whole deal, really, he lives to help the forest and everything in it, even the devious and malevolent trolls who don't make his life any easier. I wouldn't have considered putting him in here if it wasn't for how the show ended. That is one kick to the balls for any kid watching the show, a ballsy move on their part. David the Gnome lives on as part of nature, the one thing he loved the most.

Just to name a few.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Ohhhh, I was struggling to think of someone for this...

Without a doubt Dr. Cox from Scrubs, amazing character. I feel like the actor is another Bryan Cranston, he's just kind of around and not well known but is damn talented. Not sure how old he is but hope he gets a role like Cranston got with Breaking Bad to put him in the spotlight.

Also Sylar from Heroes. You know they're a great villain when you can't hate them no matter who and how many they kill.
