It seems like a scary thing and always used to really bother me, but not anymore. How about everyone else here. Are you afraid of dying and why or why not? You don't have to say why or why not if you don't want to though.

For me, there is no afterlife. There is no Heaven or Hell or reincarnation. This is the life I live now and it will be the only life I live. It would be nice if there was something afterwards but I do not trying to imagine that without proper reasoning. So if there's anything I'm afraid of, it's not making an impact on this life. It's often said that immortality comes from the remembrance of how you impacted others. People like "Alexander the Great", "Bram Stoker", "Walt Disney", all of these people may be dead but all of them have set accomplishments, be they good or bad that has left their mark in history. Until humanity dies out completely, will will probably always remember the people in history who have carved their names and that's what I want. It doesn't have to be grandiose but by the end of y life, I want something that will be etched in history. For some people this might just be continuing their generation with children and grand-children. For myself, I love writing so at some point I'd love to have something of mine published.
