This one is a bit mathy. Bear with me. Hopefully, it's easy to follow. Discuss. I may have half-assed making this topic.

I found the smallest power difference (<large>) considered large by other characters so that the greater power b is at least <large> times as great as the lesser power a

I found other types of power differences acknowledged (or implied) in the manga and scale them to one another (in increasing order): no stated/significant difference (stated equivalence), a stated/noted difference, a definite difference, a large difference.

For me, it was greater difficult to find in the manga endpoints for noted and definite differences than for large ones. So I used the following rationale: if a is noted less than b; b, noted less than c; and c, d then a is at least definitely less than b and largely less than d:

Most of the time in the manga its easy to see that a fighter (a) was noted or definitely greater than, but not largely greater than another (b).

Since <noted> divides <definite> and <large>, I just use the exponent to describe noted power differences. i.e:

log <noted>  ≤  log (a/b)  <  log (<noted> ^ 3)

The above implies that a has at least one noted difference over b, but less than three. Here is another example:

Fighters on the left, then power difference exponents. One noted difference between Vegeta and Future Trunks; Cell has at least 4 noted differences over Trunks; 3 over Vegeta.

Lastly, I can find out how many noted differences (<expnt>) exists given any <factor>.

For example, Son Goku uses half power at Karin's Tower, so his max power should be two times as great. How many differences are "two times as great" if noted differences increase by a factor of 1.077 (<noted> = ∛(1.25) ≃1.077)?

<expnt> = log(2) / log(1.077)
<expnt> = 9.319

There are about 9.319 noted differences; or between 9 and 10; a little over 3 large differences. In other words, 1.077 9.319 ≃ 2
