Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	s*** I didn't even hear about this...oh dear the dislikes. Actually it says "Concept" not sure if that means it's fan made or what then. I'm down for it being more horror BUT I hope it still has good action rather than just being psychological. What little we saw of Venom looked an awful lot like a Licker from Resident Evil so not sure if this is definitely real. It's a very good fan trailer if so anyway, there's a lot of them on that channel.

But it's not like Venom and Lickers don't look a bit similar, especially with the long tongues. Hopefully that's just Carnage and Venom shows up with a little bit more bulk on him. lazer's got good sources so that's an official trailer, too.

I like the dark here but I hope any action isn't going to be completely obscured by shadow, with Carnage FINALLY on the big screen we need to see him in his creepy crimsony glory. I'm not sure they'd go for massive bulky Venom since they try to be more grounded but Tom Hardy is pretty massive and bulky anyway, so long as the Carnage actor is less huge it should still work out like that. It'll be funny if they bring in some obscure heroes they own to get rekt.

Just have Venom and Carnage wrecking an entire highway during their battle, tearing trucks in half and all that jazz and I'll be happy.

So that has me thinking it could be some fan trailer, though maybe they genuinely are connected and they just swept it under the rug. Or just not since those kind of scenes all look the same...whatever. Still think it'd be cool. I'd imagine vigilantes will be in that world, maybe not in the movie. I doubt Sony would pass up the chance to try make it's own "dark comic universe" of some sort if it goes well. Casting Tom Hardy is a fantastic way to get people interested and ensure a strong start.

The Lord of the Dark Posts: 15,357 Group: Member Member #11,968 Joined: January 7, 2015 Gender Male Country Spain	Considering Venom's symbiote and Life's alien thingy have taken similar inspirations (mainly the 1979 classic Alien) in the past it's no surprise, and besides, the idea of Venom's symbiote coming from outer space in a meteor or shuttle has been a thing ever since the way they introduced it in Spider-Man: The Animated Series (an origin they kept using in future media such as Spectacular Spider-Man and Spider-Man 3). Or are you bringing up Life because people originally thought Life was a prequel to this movie? Vigilantes WILL be in this world for sure, especially if Sony has the rights to Moon Knight, Silver Sable, Morbius and Black Cat, but I don't think we'll see any here. This seems like it's primarily going to focus on Eddie's life, which is more than fine for me.

It would be nice to have that build up before the symbiote's instead of just "Yeah fell out the sky, cool s* right" instead we'd have a whole movie of the origin. Although, Calvin is a sentient entity so kinda odd for him to become a suit thing when it was implied he'd never stop evolving. Perhaps some s* like he can't survive in an atmosphere thus needs a human host, some of him gets cut off and becomes it's own creature, Venom. Eh, I think they could work it in to something interesting. Not that they necessarily have done. Aw damn, Marvel has Blade. Very interested in Venom still anyway, I can only see it being either fantastic or utterly terrible with no in between.

Also, I'd rather not have Calvin be involved. The symbiote is fine as it is, a slimy entity of its own. Secrets about it can be uncovered on the way. They have the ability to pull all of this off in one movie, but it'll take talent.

Even if the writing ends up being meh Hardy might be able to sell it. I guess they had to justify Cap effortlessly toying with him. I wonder if Spidey sense will be in this series or if Spider-man will exist at all. Can see there being mentions of "The Spider" here and there but if there isn't I wonder how they'll explain Venom's powers, he's Spider-Man-like just...because aliens. That's fine I suppose not like any of it makes much sense anyway.

No need to bring in Spider-Man, Venom works just as well without him. Their rivalry will be missed but you can always introduce any other hero to fill the gap there in the future. If there's one thing Eddie has above all else besides insanity, is a great capacity to hate.

Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	Noticed, but never bothered cuz either way I have no hope for this film, just like for Black Panther film I really liked Venom in Spiderman 3 by Topher Grace. Despite his limited screen-time, guy was cool. Would've liked an extension of Venom symbiote from that film
