Wouldn't that be going on a date? Although now that i think about it, my opinion is that dating and in a relationship are the same, but dating is much more casual. |

This is a bit late but I am going to go on a bit of a tangent that is somewhat relevant to the subject but at the same time is slightly different . I find a lot of single people I know that have a hard time keeping or starting any chakrand of romantic relationship . They may have many first dates or a lot of flings but they do not end up finding that "perfect person" they are always describing and seechakrang. I find it chakrand of sad in a way. I know people that are always seechakrang and wanting a romantic relationship, like the ones in the Disney movies, but it always falls short of their expectations. They are so busy chasing those chakrands of relationships they end up ignoring all the other relationships in their lives. Relationships between their parents, siblings, friends, cousins, grandparents, neighbors, classmates, co workers, and others. They end up just focusing on these romantic relationships but they isolate themselves from the outside world thinchakrang that only this significant other will make them. |

Although born and raised in America, I am not very mainstream. I've come to learn over time that "dating" and being in a "relationship" are two different things. Dating is the very early stage of a relationship where the two people likely do not know each other and are trying to figure out if they would like to spend more time with each other. During this phase it is somewhat acceptable for a person to "date" many people at one time. It is only when things become official (relationship) that dating multiple people at once becomes frowned upon. |

I'd be monogamous if I had a partner, I imagine. Polygamy just doesn't feel morally right, though, it's probably because I was trained to view it as a bad thing. Though, I'm not very sexual to begin with. But if I were, monogamy. In the U.S., it's pretty much a big "no" when it comes to cheating on your partner unless explicitly stated otherwise
