It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

This is some of the most ridiculous s*** I've heard yet. I'm sorry, I really still can't wrap my head around this one. Just when you think things can't get any more bizarre... Sure, could his communications have been monitored? Would Obama have ordered it specifically for Trump, however? No. It's a waste of manpower and resources right now.

Also, I do remember the Dean Scream, Piper :p

Well well.

Looks like IC did surveil Trump as part of other investigations. While Nunez says those were legal, the unmasking of names and following the leaking to the media was illegal.

None of the names released are confirmed, merely speculation that due to the nature of the investigation cannot be released until after the investigation is complete. Those few names that have been confirmed were done so with full legality.

Let's not assume the FBI is so foolish as to torpedo their own investigations.

They weren't surveilling Trump. They were surveilling other people through legally obtained FISA warrants and part of their communications were with Trump. It doesn't at all back up Trump's claims that Obama was wiretapping him.

I'm sure Nunes thought he was defending Trump by revealing this but what he's actually done is show that Trump was in contact with people under investigation, which doesn't look good on him and lends more credence to claims that he was colluding with a foreign power.

So the unmasking requests have been confirmed to be quote, "normal and appropriate" and "there is absolutely no smoking gun here".

Well that was expected, I imagine.
