I like that people say Obama is at fault for the increase in drone strikes. I'm sure it's nothing to do with the technology advancing and becoming more used widely. Not like you could make the same argument for any piece of military technology... I bet when warships were introduced, the number of people killed by warships sky-rocketed. Shocking. Also is it better to throw US soldiers at the enemy and have them die? People seem to have wildly conflicting opinions on this. Collateral damage is unavoidable in war. Using drones saves soldiers and effectively takes out the enemy. |

Did you even read that topic? It's literally about Obama acknowledging the fact that drone strikes have killed civilians and creating Executive Orders to mediate this problem. The whole news topic there is basically the acknowledgement by both Obama and the administrations that, they wish to work on these issues at hand. This news article isnt about Obama sitting on his chair with a cat on his lap, pressing buttons and watching innocent civilians burn. It's about the fact that the end, civilians do get killed in war and the acknowledgement by both the administration and former President in the hopes that they can help to alleviate these damages in the later future. Your previous posts tries to twist Obama as some kind of blood thirsty murderer actively trying to kill all people, when in fact this is the unfortunate outcome of what can happen during war and strikes and the administration actually attempting to alleviate these troubles to some degree. |

I doubt anyone (well those who have any lick of sense) is taking it seriously. As the article said, Trump just started tweeting it without any substantial evidence and we're not even sure where he got the information to begin with. |

That article was also from 2016, and Obama's presidency started in 2008... Also stop trying to divert my point, you asked for proof and I gave it. Obama apologized 8 years after the fact  . my opinion, and how I view obama in response to this thread. I absolutely agree, but 117 is a tad much, and that isn't counting all civilians misrepresented as combatants. |

It's possible and if it is true...how unsurprising. A conservative news hosts tried to make some argument which was then picked up by a literal fake news source. It's like I've said, Trump gets all his sources from the exact opposite of places to get them. It's like you said, his base doesn't care what the truth is as long as it supports Trump and undermines everyone else. |

Care to...offer an alternative? Absolute perfect combat where nobody but the enemy dies and the civilians fly away on rainbows to safety? Is it not completely absurd that Trump can just make these claims on Twitter willy nilly? Surely he shouldn't be allowed to just do that? How many false claims is he going to make and rally people behind him despite offering no evidence just a 140 character whine about something that probably isn't true. Seems troubling that he can do that. |

So here is the thing.... Trump demands that any news report on him and his government reveal their sources during the leaks. But won't tell anybody who told him Obama wiretapped him so that their evidence can be investigated. Even if I believed Obama did that........that is fat frigging load of hypocrasy to swallow. |

Wasn't it this Mark Levin dude who theorised it initially? First and foremost, I find it strange how people are so willing to easily dismiss this as false. Haven't they heard of a man named Edward Snowden? Or James Clapper committing perjury and lying to millions of people by denying they were intercepting communication from all citizens, foreign and domestic. The Obama admin was complicit in spying on our French allies and the French President as well as bugging the European Union in New York. I think it's more than likely that Trump's communications are somewhere in a database at NSA headquarters. However, it doesn't mean that Obama actually gave the order to tap Trump Tower. The NSA is extremely massive and as Snowden showed us, the majority of Americans had their data hacked, especially Verizon customers. So did Obama specifically ask to wiretap Trump? Maybe, we don't know. But is it possible that Trump's communications were indeed monitored even though Obama didn't give the order? Yes If this is indeed true, it will cement the falsities of the Obama admin to a massive degree. We already know that the promised "most transparent administration in history" is incredibly obscure, including having the record for most denials of FOIA requests @ 77%" Anyone currently working in Government allied with Obama would be severely scrutinized. Especially since Obama was campaigning for Hillary at an incredible level and telling all Americans they must vote to Hillary. This would appear like massive collusion between Obama and Hillary and I'm not sure if that is even legal? If Obama ordered the tap to help Hillary? The media would not be able to repair their damaged hero, Obama, and I think his destruction will take others with him, perhaps even many in the Democratic party. 2018 would be all Republicans and you would see more of a separation of entities in the Democratic party. They would branch to Green, Progressive, and Centralist Democrats. This would be very bad for Obama and the Democratic party, it would cement his legacy for sure as it would be worse than Watergate; or at the very minimum, equivalent to Watergate. If Trump is wrong nothing will happen to his character. He has cried wolf so many times that if he's wrong about this nothing will change, it will just be more news to discuss every night. Trump wins either way, either he's right and this did happen and Obama and quite possibly the Democratic party is done, or this is not true and the media is covering this instead of Jeff Sessions. It's easy to dismiss as false because not a single shred of evidence was offered and still isn't and if Obama was capable of making such stupid decisions we'd know about many by now, surely. Maybe some shady people in his administration were doing things they shouldn't have but Trump is claiming it like Obama himself ordered it with no basis at all. That's pretty easy to dismiss. The possibility of a tap at all, less so. |
