Who owns all 26 volumes of dbz and how much was it? I'm finding it for at least $260 on Amazon. Geez it may just be me since I don't buy manga but is that worth it??

For me it's definitely not but I know some of you are bigger on actually owning manga so how many of you actually own it?

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I own a complete collection of DBZ, but I bought them all separately as I was reading it. It was a while ago so I don't have an exact figure, but I think it was somewhere around £110 (I'm averaging it at around £4 a copy, but it could have been a little less or a little more) which is about $135.

I don't actually own the DBZ mangas specifically, but I own the entire manga (1-42) in both english and norwegian. I spent about $12 for 3-1 volumes, that's 14 volumes. Adding that up, I spent $170 ish for all of them. They might be of lower quality, so 10 bucks for one volume seems fine to me.

If I were to think about it getting it some day what would be the cheapest way?

I'm a manga collector and get most of my manga from rightstuf.

They're always around $7.49 each there, but if rightstuf is having a sale you can get them for even cheaper. Or you can get the Vizbigs, which are really high quality omnibuses with three volumes in one for only $14.99: http://www.rightstufanime.com/Dragon-Ball-Z-BIG-Edition-Manga-Volume-6

I own all 42 volumes of the manga. I bought them slowly over about 2 years, so I don't know exactly how much it cost. Something like £4-6 per volume I think.

I mostly got mine from Amazon, which is where I get most of my books. It's great if you don't mind second hand copies. As long as you check the description to make sure it's not an ex-library copy, which always bugs me because it has markings inside, then they're usually pretty much new quality.

Ok so the 3 in 1 versions are the cheapest. Comes out to about $130 I think? That sound about right? Dam that's a way better than deal than what I was looking at

I bought them all digitally from Viz for ~$7 a piece over time.

I have it entirely digitally, and I prefer it that way tbh. It was a good bit cheaper for me, and I can read the manga wherever I go on my phone, iPad or computer.
