Ultraman's Zetton has been sent forth through space to face off against another massive creature, Marvel's Fin Fang Foom. The monster who slew Ultraman and the dragon who duked it out with Iron Man and the Hulk. Whichever one wins, the arena is screwed.

"Z-ton!"

Zetton's mind wasn't a particularly complex one by any means. But he did know that he liked fighting. Fighting was fun, always gave him something to do to break the monotony of being shipped around by whatever race had gotten their claws in him this time. He could fight back against their control, but he was smart enough to know that it would just lead to being stranded on a planet. With the way his species' lifetime was measured, it'd be extremely, extremely boring.

"Z-ton!"

Thankfully for him though, his masters had deployed him against a monster this time. A big green one, that was the description that they had given and he had then been told that the beast was around here. If Zetton had lips, he would have grinned. As it was, he just beeped in a manner similar to a chortle, clashing his fists together in a show of bravado. He knew full and well how to flush out a response from any local monsters. "Z-ton" Zetton snarled, raising his hands up towards his face before dropping them as infernal energies burst forward from the yellow sensory pit in his face. Bam, bam, bam, a trio of Trillion Degree Fireballs burst forth from Zetton and turned the city into a conflagration instantly. Houses exploded, people became less than ash, concrete and steel melted. If that didn't attract attention, then nothing would. "Z-ton!" Zetton continued to warble, his challenge ringing out far and wide thanks to the resonating properties of his sensory pit.

It had taken only a few hours for Fin Fang Foom to take care of most of humanity after his awakening. China had been left to rot in a sea of acid, and there was nothing but a trail of bones and dust across most of Asia and Europe. No matter how fast the civilians ran or how powerful their armies were, there was no escape from Fin Fang Foom.

For all grown men and children across the world, Fin Fang Foom was no different than the Grim Reaper itself, many had already accepted their demises at the hands of the space dragon, praying for their suffering to end quickly was a viable, albeit futile, option. Nothing could stop the creature, now that he had burned China to a crisp, including his only weakness, a magic herb that could put him to sleep for countless centuries. Even if all armies across the planet joined forces and dropped their most powerful nukes on this monster, Fin Fang Foom would be unfazed. Amused at the very least, which is how he was at the current time, given how pathetic humans were, not offering a challenge in the slightest. Foom spoke through a universal translator, which helped him communicate with the people of France, filling their hearts with even more fear than what his appearance could give.

"Foolish mortals! You shall not escape your unpitiful fate! This planet has been selected by my crew as the first of many to be conque-!"

BOOM!!

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF GLAURUNG...?!" - Fin Fang Foom turned around to see the horizon turned bright, bright and hot as the Sun, but how could it be? As soon as the flash of light was gone, the dragon looked more surprised than ever the moment he looked at was left of the city.

There was no city. The entirety of the Paris which stood on its foundations a few seconds ago, completely annihilated, with only a few chunks of buildings still standing, in a crater that covered hundreds of meters. There was only a single survivor, a human, half of one to be more precise. The legless torso crawled up to the 32-ft tall alien at the speed of a worm as if he thought he could escape the dragon's sight all while leaving such a disgusting river of blood, which got increased as soon as Fin Fang Foom stepped on and crushed the man.

"Hmph. That at least takes care of some of the more annoying ones." Foom's heightened senses helped him discover the cause of that explosion, and looked up to find a giant monster, one so colossal it made the space dragon look like a small child. It looked like a black humanoid insect with three lights on his body and what appeared to be his face. The universal translator made strange noises as he tried to identify the language of the Zettonians.

"Are you another alien invader, like us? This planet belongs to my crew, The crew of Fin Fang Foom! Go back to wherever you came from and abandon orbit in less than a minute, unless you want to stay and be destroyed!"

The Zettonians in orbit heard his voice through their surveillance devices. They black aliens blinked their yellow eyes and then burst into laughter among themselves. What point was there in negotiating? The dragon was plainly stuck on the ground, and while that hampered their invasion force should they enter in for a proper invasion, that wasn't a problem due to the presence of Zetton. And the space dinosaur looked frankly annoyed.

"Z-ton..." Zetton growled, his pride insulted as he glared down at the tiny dragon. Was this a joke? He was an old creature, and the only entertainment he could look forward to was a fight. But instead of some proper monster, it was a creature that didn't even reach his knee. Zetton's sensory pit flashed rapidly, cursing horribly in Morse code. As for his actual voice, his constant, "Z-ton" drone grew more frustrated. The giant monster even stomped his foot in fury, going board straight a moment later to glare up into space.

"I bet five credits that Zetton levels the city by the time he's done being pissed" one of the Zettonians chuckled.

"Oh, you're on!" the other one laughed.

"Z-ton!"

The space dinosaur was outraged, raising up his hands to his sides and flexing them with pent up energy. He responded to the challenge with a loud set of beeps and snorts through his ears, his entire form twitching with rage. This little lizard didn't deserve his full attention or even a strong attack. With little warning, an arc of red energy sparked between Zetton's horns and ears before centering on his sensory pit. It was the barest discharge of energy, but still enough to slay the weakling monsters that his masters sometimes foolishly deployed him again. At this moment, he wanted nothing more than to see his masters scream as they realized that he allowed them to take him around, and that they had no real control. But then, he'd be stuck here. And he'd get even more angry. Zetton's fury settled into a quiet kind of irritation as he focused his beeps on the dragon.

"Z-ton" Zetton hissed in an almost exasperated fashion before he discharged the bolt of red energy on his face in a swift and piercing ray. He had heard it compared to a laser gun. Zetton didn't know what that was, but it left corpses with a tiny hole in their chest. Still, at least this creature wasn't just a mere tiny like he had sometimes been deployed against. So he gave the dragon the honor of a triple burst of the red beam. Where the beam struck, red smoke immediately burst upwards. Zetton didn't know why that happened, but he supposed that it was a nice funeral pyre.

Not that this creature deserved it.

"Z-ton" Zetton flexed his arms, complaining about his unused muscles and energy. Well, maybe there was something else on this world. The space dinosaur turned around, convinced he had just killed the threat his masters had spoken of. It didn't occur to him that it seemed too easy. He didn't deign to acknowledge such concerns.

Fin Fang Foom's acute auditory fin-ears could hear very clear laughs at the furthest edge of the planet's exosphere. Plenty of laughs and plenty of mocking chatter the space dragon could care less about. The creature in front of him was nothing but a pawn, he knew this now. The true alien invaders thought of themselves as being safe from Foom's reach, and they were wrong. Despite this, the Makluan invader had nothing to lose. He cracked his knuckles as he spoke.

"Heh. I shall play this little game of yours. It won't take long before I use your minion's corpse to smash that tiny spaceship of yours into pieces. No matter how high up you are, you will not escape the wrath of Fin Fang Foom."

The extraterrestrial insect-like colossus began to communicate with Foom through morse code, and while the dragon wasn't able to decipher it all completely with his telepathy, the dinosaur was starting to get into the dragon's nerves, and it seemed like Zetton was displeased aswell. The red beams were easily dodged as the Makluan flew into the air and escaped the ruby explosions at eye-blinking speeds, reaching the skies and the clouds.

He was expecting the giant to attack more, but he was quickly ignored, and this, above all else, angered Foom the most. He began to fly towards him at even higher speeds, constantly increasing by the second, with both his arms and fists forward, aiming at his back. As Foom's speed incremented exponentionally, so did his size, eventually matching his height with the dinosaur's, and for the sake of assuring him having the upper hand in the end, he readied a small acid spittle to penetrate the supposedly mechanical creature's defenses.

Zetton's attuned senses picked up on the change in size of the dragon as well as his avoidance of the attack. However, he didn't pay it much mind until he felt the dragon matching his size. The space dinosaur warbled in confusion. Was this creature a size shifter? He certainly had never met one such as that. But what if he was like those humanoid size shifters, the ones who gave him a good fight? Did it merit turni-

"Zetton, turn around, you imbecile!" a shrill voice shrieked into Zetton's head, causing the space dinosaur to wince. His new masters had brought along something that was wrong, something that screeched into his mind and gave him a headache. It only made him champ at the bit more. Nonetheless, Zetton's arms flew upward, forming a translucent barrier of blue around the alien creature in an instant. Zetton rotated in place with lightning speed, face aglow with new energy as he heard the sonic boom of the dragon approaching.

"Z-ton?" Zetton beeped in shock as he saw the dragon barreling forth with a greater speed than his sonar and infrared had perceived. Still, the Zetton Shutter shield took care of the acid spray easily enough, the liquid splattering off of it harmlessly. If Zetton had a face, he would have grinned as his ears detected the sizzling of the rocks the acid touched. He reassessed his judgment; this creature certainly looked like it could put up a fight. Zetton lowered his barrier, extending his powerful arms to meet the dragon head-on. He'd been looking for a fun fight, he wasn't going to turn this one down. Zetton felt the impact rattle through his bones and muscles as he was slammed, skidding backwards for several body lengths but managing to stay upright nonetheless.

"Z-ton, beebeebeebeebee!" Zetton trilled in delight, raising up his right knee to smash it into the dragon's face. This was almost as fun as the days when he was but a hatchling, brawling it out with his fellow space dinosaurs. Zetton continued to press the attack after his knee strike, lashing out with a right hook followed by a straight palm strike from his left. "Z-ton!" Zetton continued to call out, racing in with his two fingered hands open and ready to grasp the dragon's long neck. It was such a ripe target to strangle, to twist. Zetton only hoped that the dragon kept the game up a bit longer. "Z-ton" Zetton continued, his face blinking out various codes, all of them to the tune of Zetton being quite happy.

A forcefield. Interesting.

The dragon noticed the dinosaur's behaviour. It was simple and destructive, almost childlike. If this was supposed to be his opponent, he thought of at least making it a fair fight. Three hits. That was all he was going to give him, in order to test out his strength.

He watched the dinosaur jump towards him, and allowed that first blow to make contact. He did not regret it, the attack wasn't particularly strong for his species' standards. Despite its childish level of speech, the dinosaur seemed quite skilled, using a right hook and a palm strike to attack the dragon, an admirable effort, proving there was some sort of a warrior inside the bug-like creature, but none of this was enough to satisfy Foom, these were amateur techniques for him, and this thing had only drawn a small amount of blood despite having so much momentum on its side.

The monster roared its own name as it tried to attack one more time, this time with what appeared to be one of his claws, and was going directly at Fin Fang Foom's neck. Zetton surely felt the grasp of Foom's hand on its wrist, stopping the claw attack.

"Your winning streak is over, insect."

The dragon shouted "Begone!" as he threw Zetton high into the sky. Foom flew towards him, and a barrage of lethal moves began to pummel the dinosaur at speeds superior to that of the dragon's hypersonic flight. A side kick to the throat, a knee drop to the chest, a scissors punch... All while keeping the poor zettonian monstrosity in the air with his tail. Fin Fang Foom wasn't going to stop, this was starting to get fairly entertaining for him.

Zetton's beeps changed frequency, becoming more a low rumble than anything else. He took the blows directly, only continuing to let out his low hisses as he was struck. It was as if his primitive brain couldn't quite process what had just happened. So to his masters, Zetton appeared to merely be accepting the beating meekly.

"Zetton, you cockroach, start fighting back"

Zetton jerked at the voice that yelled within his brain, and the depth of his rumbles redoubled. They had not been reactions of pain as his masters might have imagined. They had been primal annoyance. Zetton had surived for 100s of millions of years, and he had never been disrespected as much as this green dragon had done so.

Without any warning, Zetton's arms curled up, blocking the scissors punch with a resounding thud. At the same time, Zetton swung out with both legs in a savage double kick to the dragon's chest. Zetton's entire demeanor seemed to have changed, his relaxed and steady movements replaced by delightful flexes of his body as he finally lashed out against a proper rival.

"Z-ton" the alien hissed, barely seeming affected by the series of brutal melee attacks. The dinosaur wrapped his arms around the dragon's, sensory pit blazing with unnatural light. Zetton held his foe close, intending to prevent his ability to dodge. A more ordinary creature would have been stopped by the choking tail, but Zetton's insectoid ancestry meant he breathed through his skin as opposed to his throat.

"Z-ton!" was Zetton's battlecry of millennia old indignation as his sensory pit flashed a darker yellow than usual before unleashing the pyromaniacal energies that constituted one of his Trillion Degree Fireballs at point blank range. If the dragon wasn't going to be toothless entertainment, if he dared challenge his superiority, he'd get what he deserved; his head being cooked by a Trillion Degree Fireball.

Foom had no idea if his attacks were doing any damage. This creature seemed mechanical yet organic, but there was no blood to be seen. Was he holding back too much? He thought not. This creature wasn't worthy of touching his full power, he reserved it for less childlike opponents. He was merely having fun, and even after being struck in the chest, this did not surprise him.

It would do me no good to underestimate this seemingly tireless creature.

So he relaxed his body, taking Zetton's attacks sent a telepathic message to his brethren, other Makluans who were on their way to take over the planet aswell, currently annihilating dozens of cities by the hour.

"Comrades, I'm somewhat occupied at the moment, and it appears we have contenders on this planet's orbit. Take care of them, brethren, but leave this one to me, this is Fin Fang Foom fight!"

"We shall, navigator! And understood." said the crew's leader as he stopped his rampage through Japan and soared up through the skies. He was quickly joined by the others. They all flew into the vastness of space searching for a spaceship, quickly detecting the electric sounds of its inner machinery and the chatter of Zetton's masters.

As soon as the telepathic message was sent, Foom found himself trapped in an armlock of sorts. He was mostly free to do as he wished, this monster's grip was not one to admired, and it didn't seem like a good armlock to begin with, Foom had many ways to get out, and more than enough time as it looked like that chest attack was going to take ages to charge. But of all the possible ways the dragon could've broken the hold, he chose the one that would intimidate his foe the most.

"You seem to have forgotten something, cokroach. A very vital ability of mine."

Foom's muscles began to grow, breaking the lock, for his claws were not big enough now, and he spared the space dinosaur a few seconds of breath, to admire how he'd become a third of his height taller and two times as heavy. His shoulders alone now reached a new height of at least 80 meters.

"I am Fin Fang Foom! Do you understand what my name means, you insolent and insignificant gnat?! I am the one whose limbs shatter mountains and whose back scrapes the Sun!! You cannot hope to defeat me!"

The dragon's eyes went yellow as he roared as loud as he could. Even his brethren could hear how his mightiest warrior unleashed his rage upon this poor insect. The roar allowed Zetton to see how Foom made his teeth grow bigger and sharper, turning the entirety of his jaws into fangs, and bit Zetton's face, almost whole, almost as hard as he could. He kept the jaws stuck in there for a second before the yellow light from Foom's eyes bursted from his mouth in the form of an acid mist that looked almost like a green fire breath, roasting Zetton's face. And the dragon did not stop his attack for several minutes.

Zetton's ears hurt from the incessant screeching of the dragon, speaking a language that he could understand but didn't bother to. But the change in size shocked Zetton into interrupting the charging process for his fireball. Zetton cursed himself for the error. He was an experienced fighter, being shocked by such a trick was below him. He wouldn't repeat it.

"Zetton!!!!"

Though he was tempted if only to make his masters stop howling in his mind. Zetton's beeps became a piercing siren as he lurched his hands up, catching Fin Fang Foom's jaws before they could close down on his head. Zetton snarled a low, half electronic tone before he viciously twisted his arms, attempting to snap the impudent dragon's neck. But before he could twist far enough, there was that accursed acid spray. Zetton loosened his grip immediately, beeping twice while warbling lowly in pain.

"Z-ton...!" Zetton hissed out, dropping his arms down to his side with a loud clap. And just like that, Zetton had vanished in a burst of prismatic light. All the acid mist around him was left to just drop to the ground harmlessly(relatively speaking, of course). A flash of light on the ground, and Zetton was then standing there, making noises that indicated if he had a face, he'd have been holding the most baleful look possible. The acid had burnished his black skin, twisting it and warping it in places, though his silver bits seemed to have survived more intact. His sensory pit was a bit scarred, but in working condition. Despite his good fortune and relative lack of damage, Zetton was furious, clenching his hands and making his ever present warble as loud as possible.

"Good, he's been lollygagging too much" one of the Zettonians scoffed as they looked down at the battle. Another Zettonian, one in brown robes with metal device in hand simply narrowed his eye.

"Zetton. Do you see now why you listen to me? Now, give him all that you have..." the Zettonian said in a dangerously low voice, a hiss that truly matched that of his favored monster.

"Z-ton" Zetton on Earth grunted, at least agreeing with the voice in his head on that. His sensory pity flashed, spewing a barrage of Trillion Degree Fireballs towards Fin Fang Foom. One to his face, two to the chest. He'd been hurt, the pride of a million years having been scuffed by some mewling, green dragon who thought himself strong. Zetton aimed to prove otherwise with extreme prejudice. "Beeebeeepbeeeep!" Zetton trilled, getting used to his foe's movements by now. His foe liked to be on the attack, so he raised up his arms in anticipation, the blue Zetton Shutter immediately bursting to life around him for a brief second in case of the dragon's counterattack. Once lowered, Zetton teleported once more. He hated having to fight at long range, much prferring to crush his enemies to death, but it was for the best in this case.

Despite the clear disadvantages on this fight, Zetton kept on getting up, something that both amazed and angered Fin Fang Foom. The dragon admired the dinosaur's fighting spirit, but its infantile demeanor and annoying beeping noises were starting to get tiresome. Zetton had enough energy to teleport back and forth between locations each far from the other, all while shooting those deadly energy balls at Foom. Their small size made them easier to dodge, especially since Foom could change his height from bigger to smaller whenever he needed to. The ones that got close enough to burn his skin only created small wounds which were quickly healed.

How braindead is this creature? Can't it even recognize when it's beaten? Perhaps it really is a tireless creature! If so...

Commands from above ordered Zetton. Its leaders wanted him to use his full power, or so it seemed to Fin Fang Foom. A barrage of the same attacks as before came to him, all while summoning his adorable forcefield. Zetton was angry, and Foom could see this from the way he was shooting all over the place, obliterating what was left of Paris, including the iconic Eiffel Tower. It was more mindless than ever, and Foom did not have time to waste with puny animals.

The Makluan presented his final words to the machine-like monster as he flew into the sky:

"Living being or machine, none of that matters to me, but it's very clear your tactics are limited and predictable, unlike mine. This battle is over."

Before leaving, Foom's eyes shined red as he shot a beam of the same color into the ground. He flew in circles, leading his sight to all corners of this wasteland that had even the smallest chunks of fallen debris. The red beam made the fallen buildings move... No... It was gave them. Thousands of golems made out of building parts that had fused and joined with one another... All of varying sizes and shapes... They all marched against Zetton with killing intent. Despite not being quite his size, they had the advantage on numbers.

Foom hadn't stopped flying upwards after he gave life to those golems. His face was filled with nothing but disappointment, but excitement was within his heart for he'd finally reached the point where the zettonians had been all that time. He sent yet another telepathic message to his brethren.

"Comrades. I have found them. Come at once, we need to get rid of this pest."

"We'll arrive in a few seconds!" - said the crew's captain, followed by almost twenty others like Foom and himself, ready for a war the zettonians were most likely not expecting.

"They're coming right at us" one of the Zettonians pointed out.

"I can see that, imbecile!" another replied, smashing her fist down on all of their weapon systems. It was a good thing they had raided the Pedanians before coming here and managed to plunder a few of their advanced weapons. Of course, it was a shame they hadn't been able to snatch up a King Joe, but the Pedanium Launcher(Zettonium after some modifications so they didn't have to raid their planets constantly) would have to be good enough. From the flattened Zettonian ships emerged a three barreled cannon array, glowing a disgusting, toxic purple before firing off a three round burst of Zettonium. The projectiles themeselves were tiny, but would expand into massive chunks of the mineral upon impact. The Zettonians honored their military tradition well, breaking formation to immediately engage Fin Fang Foom's allies effectively and start blasting into them with their enormous cannons. Whenever one of the cannons hit, the effect was much like putting a bomb inside of someone; not pretty in the least.

As for Foom himself, he had made the mistake of turning his back on Zetton. So far as space dinosaurs went, it was the worst insult possible, and Zetton reacted appropriately.

"Z-ton!" Zetton snapped out, flashing away once more. He didn't care about fighting the tiny little things the dragon had left for him. Did the dragon think him too frail? That was absurd, beyond absurd even! He was strong, and he would be treated as such, damn it! In a burst of rainbow light, Zetton had teleported himself in his draconic foe's way. The space dinosaur joined his hands in front of him, a whirling tempest of purple and pink energies appearing in his joined hands. Sparks of electromagnetic energies appeared around Zetton's arms, turning them a glowing pink color. "Z-ton!" Zetton thrust his hands forward and a series of purple and black waves blasted forth from his arms, the Zetton Breaker smashing into Fin Fang Foom's long head. The attack created an explosion every time a new wave struck, and seeing how the attack was nothing but a series of waves, that was an explosion more than once per zecond. Zetton didn't let up for a second, sustaining the beam's potency for a few seconds even as his sensory pit charged with more yellow energy.

Zetton beeped in a way twice as foul as any before before unleashing his Trillion Degree Fireballs towards Fin Fang Foom's head just as the Zetton Breaker faded away, the fireballs exploding into a massive plume of superheated flame as they struck.

"Excellent, Zetton" purred the voice of one of the Zettonians, extraordinarily calm despite the dog fight outside the atmosphere.

"They're shooting at us." said one of the younger Makluans.

"I can see that, imbecile!" responded the captain.

"Didn't they just say that?" jokingly continued the easygoing youngster. His sentence followed by the captain screaming "DODGE!" in horror, but before he could save one of his less experienced crew members, the distraction was enough for him to get shot aswell, fortunately being hit in the arm, which exploded but started to heal right away.

Attacking the zettonians head-on was a very foolish plan, there were easier ways to do this without the need of getting injured, their technology was, just like their pawn, not to be underestimated. But the Makluans were a crafty and wise race, they knew how to obtain victory and they had the power to take it.

The entire squadron of space dragons shrunk to the size of a grain of sand, and flew towards the enemy's ship. Their projectiles were now much easier to avoid, and the dragons' speed had increased exponentially. Once they landed on the fortified spacecraft, they did as their navigator and shapeshifted their jaws to be covered with nothing but fangs, and started to tear through the thick hull, soon reaching the ship's circuitry, biting and scorching the machinery really quickly, but moving deeper and deeper into the vehicle's bridge.

While all of this happened, right beneath this all-out war between Zettonians and Makluans, the two fierce monsters continued their fight, Zetton surprising Fin Fang Foom with his teleportation.

"You're starting to become annoying, bug."

Foom allowed this moment of overconfidence and got bombarded with attacks of a magnitude such as he'd never felt before. How could his opponent still convey so much energy? Tireless as it was, Foom didn't expect it to have an near endless, possibly limitless in truth, arsenal aswell.

As he fell to the ground after being struck in the wing, he dodged most of the other projectiles and waited for his wounds to heal. After they did, Foom flew right back up and used his tail to grab Zetton's arms, holding him from behind and dragging and throwing him into space, next to the Zettonians' ship. Foom had heard the scream of one of his now dead partners as their guts bursted from the inside, and if the Zettonians had a weapon like that in their grasp, it was perhaps time to see it being used against their loyal minion.

The Zettonian's main ship kept itself pulled away from the action, harboring the frustrated crew as some of their fighter escort were destroyed by the dragons. It seemed to be an even war of attrition for now, but that wouldn't last. The Pedanians were much better suited for this than the Zettonians, who were used to conquering, not war. Even with their weapons, they didn't know the correct formations. It was miraculous really that even with their prototype weapons so recently robbed that they were holding their own.

"Zetton got into our firing line, he's stalled our ships" one of the Zettonians on the main ship growled. "Damn bug" he continued, his fingers drifting over to a blue button on the bridge. Did he dare press it? It would certainly get them out of their predicament, but could by itself make the situation ten times worse. As the alien considered it, he was stopped by a grunt from the Zettonian in the brown robe who had been calm the whole time. "Maddock?"

"Hold that phone. Things are just getting interesting. Don't you want the universe to hear about how we took these dragons down?" Maddock chuckled, fingering his Battlenizer eagerly. "Besides, aren't I the one in charge here?" The other Zettonian slowly nodded. "Good then, now stop whining and let me battle"

"Z-ton..." Zetton snarled, pushing back against the dragon with his bound arms He didn't know he was blocking his own ships nor would he care if he did. It'd just be another master gone, and he had had many. But this dragon had to go. Zetton writhed mightily, even thrusting his head forward a few times to butt his foe with his horns. Zetton's horns were sharp and his upper body strong, but he was still at a leverage disadvantage despite his angered smashing of his head against the dragon's stomach. The Zettonian ships pulled backward, attempting to reposition as best they could with the space dragons damaging their internals and Zetton getting in the way.

"Zetton, let's get serious. Do you remember the time in the Valley of Flames?" Maddock's voice cut into the space dinosaur's mind. Zetton beeped, not having time to hear the annoying, screechy words of his current master right now. He had something more important on his mind than listening to some insignificant creature that only controlled him by his own will. The Valley of Flames did, however, register in his mind. It was vaguely familiar, but then, so were many things in his primeval mind. "Go, EX Zetton!" Maddock squealed joyfully, and Zetton remembered with utter clarity as that fiery energy empowered his body once again. It was like burning from the inside out, and Zetton let out a low pitched "Z-ton" to clarify his displeasure as his outer shell burst apart.

His shoulders and body in general grew thicker, more powerful as the gray sections of his arms became a dark charcoal color and spikes shot out from his shoulders and wings.. Black faulds of chitin grew down from his waist, protecting his more muscular legs even as greaves of the same material grew up from his feet to protect his shins. Zetton's two fingered hands split apart into five fingers, tipped with nasty claws and protected by metallic chitin. The yellow eyes on his chest split, turning into eight narrow eyes that covered his entire torso, changing in time to his sensory pit growing longer and becoming surrounded with a pair of gnashing mandibles. With a dip downward of his horns, Zetton had finished his transformation and added 6 meters and 3,000 tons to his size, and exponentially more in power.

"Z-ton!" the empowered Zetton bellowed, taking advantage of his new fingers to grasp onto Fin Fang Foom's tail and dig his claws in while pulling, aiming to rip it apart. More dangerously, he swung his legs out, driving the new spikes on his chitin boots into Fin Fang Foom's back and legs. Even if it didn't hurt Foom, it was going to take them both out of the formation, something the Zettonian ships greatly appreciated. Zetton was pleased himself, satisfied that he'd be able to make the lizard pay now. "Beeebeee!" Zetton's head lurched forward and he bit down with his new mandibles onto Foom's shoulder.

The Lord of the Dark

Foom stopped the creature's horns rather easily, he was at a clear disadvantage here in space, much slower and sluggier, but despite being at his mercy, Foom just tossed him away. He kept hearing the zettonians' conversations, and the following transformation just meant they had several aces up their sleeve, which was somewhat worrying, but this was all about to change as soon as his brethren would be done after wrecking their ship. For the moment, his fighting spirit kicked in again, as he saw Zetton's new form was much more formidable and warriorlike. He was bigger too, and this was perhaps a good time to test the creature's patience.

In the span of half a millisecond, Foom became a tenth of his size, dodging Zetton's attacks even easier this time, but he knew mocking and angering the creature would be no good if the prideful space dragon would be uncapable of testing his "serious" power, so he went back to sharing the same shoulder height as Zetton's previous form after the attempted bite to the shoulder.

Foom's enormous weight began to augment, multiplying by the hundreds, reaching the millions of tons in the first few seconds, a weight he could easily support with his legs, and nothing particularly outlandish for his race to be able to support. With this weight increase, his hide became thicker and his muscles became harder, and to make sure Zetton noticed this, he flexed his muscles in several ways, as if he were a Mr Universe contestant. Silly as it seemed, it was intentional. He was taunting the space dinosaur.
