It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Saw this earlier today. Really good. Action scenes were brilliant, but the more impressive and interesting for me is the world/lore building. That's what gripped me in the first one, and made me excited for the sequel, and it was of the same quality in 2 and provoked the same 'can't wait for 3' reaction. Highly recommend it, especially if you enjoyed the first.

John wick 2 was just as good if not better than the first. Definitely lived up to the expectations

It's not just the shooting that was cool. The hand to hand fight scenes were so awesome. And John wick is a tank lol

So I've wanted to watch John Wick for ages and bought both 1 and 2 last week. Sat with my brother the last couple of evenings to watch them both and they're both awesome movies.

Out of the two films I still think I like how simple the first film was as a premise more, but 2 did a good job of building on John Wick as a franchise and added a lot to his character. Now that the films seem to have gotten more political, in terms of John's position in the criminal underworld, I think I will miss some of his more simple revenge motivations like, avenging the death of his dog, taking back his car, avenging the death of his house (lol). Those sorts of things remind me of Clint Eastwood movies, who I am of course a big fan of.

I'm surprised that not many others have commented on this movie! It was very good.

Based on the second movie I think it'd be awesome if they...

I doubt that would ever happen but it'd be so weird that I reckon they could pull it off

Keanu Reeves isn't in enough movies these days.

I liked the second one a lot too. The kill count was crazy. But I think I enjoyed the first one more because it was simpler, and easier to digest. I'm still psyched for the third one.

I am very impressed with how much they've worked on the gun-fu for these movies. This is Keanu Reeves' chance to show everybody that he's an awesome actor.
