So remember how Old Kai fused with that witch, well because he was the dominant power he only gained some traits of hers and was still basically himself. So if Gohan and Goku had fused would Gohan have been sort of the same way and just had some of Goku's qualities seeing as how Gohan's strength is superior? Goku and Vegeta had equal powers, so Vegito was a mixed result of both of them. Is it because there was such a massive gap between the Old Kai and the witch that he took dominance or what? Would Gohan and Goku be close enough that it wouldn't really make a difference? Those are my questions, sorry if they sound a bit scattered. |

The difference between Goku and Gohan is miniscule at best, so no. There are probably more factors in play other than strength that determines dominance. Black didn't dominate Merged Zamasu. He was a fusion between Black and Future Zamasu in every way despite the vast power difference between the fusees. |

I believe that Potara Fusion uses the strongest body of the two (e.g. Goku's body) and the strongest personality (e.g. Vegeta's personality) to create the fusion. Seeing how though most arcs, Goku is the strongest fighter, then most fusions should resemble his body but, (and this is purely opinion) Goku's personality is fairly weak and therefore the other's personality would be used. So, I'd say a Goku/Gohan potara fusion would look like Goku with Gohan's personality. Although you could definitely argue that due to Gohan's poor fighting spirit at many times, Goku may win out in both parts. |
