With the way that super is going in terms of animation and story, Omega shenron is still the more likable villain than beerus and zamasu. Beerus the cat is something anyone could've came up with and he's still stronger due to plot protection. Zamasu doesn't have the likable presence of personality in order to be a better villain than Omega. Plus, Omega had more of a reason to take control of earth since zamasu apparently wanted to destroy earth just because he wanted to. Omega wanted to show the world why abusing the dragon balls was bad and how Goku and the others brought him to existence. Super is just a bad show, but I prefer if they developed on the characters better in GT, the villains would be more likable than the so called Gods of destruction.

I mean, Yi Xing Long is pretty bland, all things considered. He looks cool, but that's about it. Beerus and Zamasu had actual characters. |

Seriously? Other than his design, Long/Omega is one of the blandest villains to ever grace this series along with Super 17. In fact a good portion of the GT villains are about as complex as a saltine cracker that's been sucked on. The only villain that really has some measure of personality and characterization was Baby. Beerus has character, he has personality, at times he can feel a bit cliched but at other times you can see depth in him. His design is something that has never been used throughout the series before, a nice take on an Egyptian mythology kind of look. Zamasu is the same, even when its done bad, he still has a personality, character and an attempt to dwell into something that wasn't just "I'm an a*****" like literally every villain before. In fact, every single Dragon other than Nouva are so bland that if Long was any whiter than he was, he'd become transparent. Also, Long didn't come to teach anyone about the misuses of the Dragon Balls. He was just a stereotypical villain born out of a concept that while nice as it allowed the "McGuffins" to be turned against our heroes, was just unaware issues they had little control over. |

Beerus is waaay more likable than anyone introduced in GT. Memorable design and he was unique in that he was an enemy fof the Z Fighters but not actually "evil". He was also the first God to be a villain in the series. Zamas has a lot more to him than Omega, too. He didn't want to destroy Earth; he wanted to kill all mortals because he wanted peace in the universe and he felt as long as mortals lived, there could be no peace. Omega was just another "I wanna destroy everything for the sake of destroying everything" type villain. Edited by Scotty_Rogers, Feb 18 2017, 06:53 AM.

Beerus isn't really a villain so idk how he can be compared to omega shenron, who is literally evil incarnate The idea of the shadow dragons was cool. It's creative backstory. The negative energy built up in the dragon balls is released and creates 7 pure evil dragons. But as individuals, that's all there is to them. They're all the same What's interesting about beerus is that although we get to see him warm up to goku and co, he's kinda neutral still, but then in the end he still wants what's best for the universe. He's a much more interesting and fun character. But he's also pretty different so I don't see why they're being compared I guess a similarity is that their purpose is to destroy things but they do it for different reasons Same with zamasu. These characters are way better. It's not that omega shenron is bland or anything. I thought he was pretty cool. But beerus and zamasu are just more fleshed out and executed better Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Feb 18 2017, 08:11 AM.
