They don't show up at all in the Resurrection F movie, even though Krillin, Roshi and Tien fight. Gotenks just lands one hit on Tagoma for comic relief before splitting in Super's Resurrection F saga. SS3 Gotenks gets bodied by base Copy Vegeta, meaning he's weaker than even base Cabba. They're not participating in the multiverse tournament, even though Krillin, Tien and Roshi are. A shame all the potential they showed in the Boo arc went to waste. I don't really care all that much, though, since I don't like them to begin with.

They've got potential but they weren't raised on the battlefield or in the middle of nowhere like gohan and goku but to be fair cabbe>ssj3 gotenks isn't much of a reason. They've screwed around with their opponents many times, which has led to a bunch of people dying. Boo is probably more immature than Goten and Trunks, and yet he's participating, too. Goten and Trunks were set to replace their parents in Dragonball going forward... and nothing ever came of that. So they've ended up as fodder at worst - background characters w/o much depth at best.

And even after he was holding back. Its like saying Goku could not one hit Trunks in base when the sparred . He could easily do that. Since base goku ~ base vegeta >> ssj3 gotenks >>>>ssj2 trunks (as far as anime concerns) In the manga though its quite different Edited by Pointer, Feb 16 2017, 10:57 AM.
