I suck at God ki.

Was Son Goku was using God ki against Freeza before using Super Saiyajin Blue? I wanna have some sort of grasp on power scaling...

Krillin and Gohan could sense him in Base, then acknowledged his ki disappearing when he turned SSJB so no God ki for Base.

No they sense Goku when he powers up, much like they sense him as a ssj when he loses his form versus Beerus. It is said that as late as in the Hit filler, they can't sense him when he goes blue. They only track him by knowing the last place his ki was

I have them amping their base with God ki naturally until they're training in the ROSAT because until the tournament, we don't see regular ssj forms and I would have thought they'd want to use them on Freeza rather than jumping straight to blue and Goku transforms first. I think when they're amping their base forms they can still be sensed by the others.

So for me it goes;

ROF arc - saiyan beyond God < ssjb and ssjb is only a two times boost

Tournament arc - base < ssj (50 x base) < ssj2 (2 x ssj) < ssj3 (4 x ssj2) < saiyan beyond God (400 x ssj3) < ssjb (2 x saiyan beyond God)

But this is just my own way of making sense of the ridiculous power scaling, I refuse to believe that Cabba, a rookie saiyan who has never been pushed enough to go ssj, is stronger than Goku was when he became a ssjg against Beerus. Ridiculous.

No. Vegeta and Goku have mastered their base form. They can raise their power level to SSJ3 but in their base form. That's the whole 2 base form theory thing. While Goku was fighting Frieze before Frieza went Golden, his base form was probably around SSJ3. But not during the U6 vs. U7 tournament they used SSJ forms so their base forms were at normal level.

Nothing about God Ki.

More so that Son Gohan as Super Saiyajin is owned by Form 1 Freeza yet Son Goku with neither Super Saiyajin nor God Ki can fight Form 4 Freeza.

Its weird. The entire Freeza thing is weird. Even the manga decided to skip it.

I don't see what's weird about it tbh. Goku absorbed ssjg and he even trained with whis after that. His normal state is way beyond gohan.

Gohan should be stronger right now than he was during the RF saga though since he's been training with piccolo
