Pros and cons of each Tier list: +eliminates complications with ssj multipliers and other gaps +keeps things simple -doesn't give exact gap between fighters That's all I could think of Power level lists: +gives exact difference between fighters +can be more fun. I guess that's subjective though -can be a headache -gaps and multipliers can get complicated and subjective What do you think? What's better? Tier lists or power level lists? Tier lists can badly undersell a gap. Like if you have a tier list, then the gap between SSJ3 Goku and the fusions isn't going to be very well illustrated, I think. |

A power chain is the best, better than both of these options. |

Tier lists are easier and faster to do, but power level lists require more skill, insight and thought. A good power level list is much more impressive than a good tier list. |

Power level lists are just more fun because you're working with an aspect of the series. |

Tier lists are easy, but PL lists are much more entertaining, especially the god awful ones. |

I prefer tier lists, but I think they are useless in a manga such as DB, where the gaps between Characters are sooo huge. They are good for Naruto and OP, but not DB |

A power level list can be more fun to make if you're into that kinda thing, but I think a tier list is better in every other regard. Power levels after 2nd form Freeza (or final Form Freeza if you're going by guidebooks) are completely arbitrary. No power level list is ever right because power levels literally don't exist after Freeza. Plus even in the manga, the series is clearly not well thought out enough to be able to consistently place every single character with an exact number. |
