Gero also commented that if he absorbs the power of piccolo and the earthlings he could have a chance against vegeta. But did he knew that piccolo has more than he thought he has ? No gero 'S powerscaling is not correct as he thought android 19 has a chancr against vegeta and so vegeta in ssj is on the same league as goku was . Thus i would not take his comment on powers so seriously. On the other hand we can not deny that the fat android was on par with goku in ssj. Hech goku even got the upper hand in the start. So both of then were below ssj initial goku . Who was stated (the initial one) to br above his yardrat ssj but by how much we dont know. I think the two androids are at least ssj trunks ( three years prior) level and thus they could very well defeat that trunks especially with energy absorbtion
