Why do god ki users have an aura?

Posts: 182 Group: Member Member #9,086 Joined: February 21, 2013	It is my understanding that god ki is the mastery of ki, gaining perfect control and thus stopping any ki from leaking out of the body. If that is the case: How are god auras present? No ki leakage means no aura? How is god ki able to be detected by other users? No ki leakage means no possible method of detection?

Firefox, Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Berserk	I always though auras in the manga were mainly used to signify someone being very powerful. Looking back through my Viz right now, auras seem to be random. 2nd form Freeza has an aura in the manga after Gohan rages on him, 3rd form Freeza and True form Freeza do not. Piccolo has an aura while fighting No.17, but doesnt have one at the CG. It's weird, but it is still better than the anime that gives an aura to anyone, including the humans.

But still, "don't let your ki leak" -> "instant elevation to astronomical and incomprehensible power realm of the gods" just does not compute.

Why not keep a lid on them whenever possible to maximize power?

Why not keep a lid on them whenever possible to maximize power? The aura isn't a result of ki leaking. Beerus has an aura too so it's not like goku and vegeta are doing something wrong. It's just there for cool effects and a sign of high power output. If they were to power up and shake the planet and be sensed across the universe like ssj3... That's ki leaking if you ask me

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Regarding the whole "leaking Ki" business, when Goku and Vegeta were transported somewhere by Whis's staff, they made it pretty clear that containing your Ki is the nature of God Ki, at least it seemed that way to me.
