I just had a quick question. I just watched Episode 5 of Dragonball Super today and I was wondering how many episodes are in this season?

Toei animation releases an episode every week since the series came out except for a few weeks here and there. I don't know if there are seasons

Hmm. Well I mean, how many episodes are in Dragonball Super? I'm watching the series on Toonami, and I've seven the first five episodes. Just curious how many episodes there were.

It's unfinished, currently , there are 77 episodes, but the series is going to have 100+total

Thank you. 77 is a lot, lol. But so far I'm intrigued. The episode I just watched was when Goku first meets Beeris.

Anyway, thank you for the answer. If a mod wants to close this thread that's fine with me.

You can watch the Japanese language English subbed versions online if you google search DB Super episodes or go on a site like Saiyan Watch so you don't have to wait. There are two movies called Dragonball Battle of Gods and Resurrection F that are in English and have pretty much the first 40 or so episodes of Super in them.

I don't mind waiting. I have a really hard time following along with just reading subtitles. Plus, DBS is something I'm just casually watching once a week. Thanks for the info though.

I will also add that DBS is available for legal streaming at Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Daisuke. All of which if I recall correctly (at least Crunchyroll), get their episodes online just hours after it airs in Japan. Just for anyone else that's curious.

That's the way I see it, anyway.

You've already waited this long so I wouldn't skip and watch the Japanese dub. The English dub makes the experience that much better anyway

I plan on just watching it one episode a week for now. I have a lot of other things going on anyway, so I'm not sitting around dying to see the next episode or anything. Although, after the end of the last episode, I did want to see more. Fast forwarding through the beginning and all the commercials, it's really only like a 19 or 20 minute episode.
