After the Freeza saga, it seems like much of the events of Dragon Ball Z revolved mostly around Earth and then the world of the Kais to a certain extent. I kind of wish DBZ had continued in an intergalactic adventure format with Goku traveling around and taking out strong fighters and armies across the universe. We could have gotten more imaginative visuals with him going to new worlds and facing new challenges without it revolving around dragon balls and someone threatening to blow up the Earth for the millionth time.

One cool story could have seen Goku going to the home planet of King Cold to fight him after hearing that Cold was bringing Freeza's army under his dominion, merging it with his own, and causing even more problems than Freeza had done.

I dunno, just a thought. I mostly would like to have seen more of an adventure based series rather than a "train to get more powerful and then finally fight in a tournament" series. Goku didn't have to train in the Spirit Chamber when he originally fought the Red Ribbon Army. He pulled from his same bag of tricks and just outsmarted them.

It seems that the universe wasn't vast enough to have that many stronger fighters. The next in line were the Androids and they had to be created, then after that was Buu who was just some guy from the past.

I think the trip to Namek may have been enough, plus we got new ventures in GT and Super.
