SSJ4 was so uncreative and ugly and boring. Introducing God ki was a great idea, better than just a new saiyan transformation again. f*ing what? How the hell are Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan God even remotely creative? They're effectively just recolors that use a new type of Ki which is poorly explained and poorly implemented into the franchise. It's fine if you think the simplistic design of Super Saiyan Blue is more appealing than Super Saiyan 4, but to say it's more creative or even unique is plain ridiculous IMO. Oh, Super Saiyan 3 is the pinnacle of Saiyan power? Hmm, how do we surpass it without it feeling contrived? Oh! Lets combine it with the original Saiyan transformation, the Oozaru!

I'd rather see color changes rather than a whole new look with a tail and body fur. That was just weird as hell and was too drastic of a change. Also didn't like how you achieve SSJ4

I think the hair color change to blue or white should come after all the forms of SSJ has been achieved (which includes SSJ4 also). If you think about it, SSJG should sound powerful or threatening, a power or transformation even greater than the limits' of saiyans that have been brought out. Also, there were color changes in GT, the hair is black and not blonde.

When it comes down to it, DBZ is all about Goku and Vegeta they're by far the two most popular characters and even two of THE best anime characters ever made. In GT Goku is a kid, and Vegeta is a weakling who's lost his love for being a warrior. In Super they're both still warriors, and adults, and they rank amongst the Gods. That alone makes Super better imo

Even though I think it wasn't necessary to make him a kid, I can appreciate what they were trying to do. His silliness added to the adventure aspect of the first half of the series and so he was fun to watch. Too bad the first like 20 episodes overall still sucked But yeah I agree. In GT it makes more sense for him to act silly sometimes because he's a kid. In the Super anime sometimes I feel like I'm watching someone who's literally retarded. Seriously when they disguised beerus as monaka and everyone was hoping he wouldn't find out, it was like everyone was watching a retarded kid go play or something. It was supposed to be funny but it was so overboard that I took it as an insult to goku. Three times now I have felt genuinely pissed and insulted while watching Toei's crappy characterization for goku Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Feb 8 2017, 02:42 AM.
