 Super Saiyan 1,2, 3, etc were always considered to be improvements over the initial Super Saiyan form.

Super Saiyan God is complete separate, not only in terms of design but in its form of creation. Where as SSJ and its forms were created through intense emotions, anger and hard training.

Super Saiyan God is created through specific ritual, ki control and purity. An ironic twist. The SSj transformation twisted Goku's heart to become less pure, filled with anger and frustration. The SSJ God transformation is done through combination of pure hearted Saiyans. It left Goku as a calm, thin warrior in contrast to the rageroided beast monkey that fought Freeza.

 Don't you get it?

Goku is gonna come back with amnesia, not knowing how to use SSJ4 anymore yet he knows it exists so he calls this next transformation SSJ5 because it's next in line. He gives Vegeta amnesia too so he also forgets how to use SSJ4.

I'm just saying SSJ4 is a better concept than the current SSJG transformation. The idea behind SSG doesn't sound so bad, but I prefer it to come after GT and Toei calls it SSJ5 instead. The name itself sounds pretty dumb.
That isn't what you said though? You were talking about a name change for Super Saiyan God, and came up with Super Saiyan Five, when Super takes place before the End of Z and thus before GT and thus before Super Saiyan 4. You didn't compare ssjg to ssj4 until now aside from maybe "super saiyan 5 sounds more idealistic for a god level transformation than super saiyan God based on what SSJ4 can already do" which doesn't really address them as concepts and more on power

As for my stance, if Super Saiyan god was to be given a different name, I'd just call it saiyan god, or maybe Mystic Form (Mystic Gohan iirc isn't official, so it might be nice to use this here). That said I feel Super Saiyan God is perfectly fine as a name, and the form in general is pretty awesome with how understated and simple it was, much like Goku.

The real problem is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan/Blue, a form I generally dislike, and that makes ssjg look a bit silly.
