Have you thought about incorporating a "Today's News" thread, or "Breaking News" or "Current News?" The actual name is irrelevant but there are a lot of things happening in the world, especially now. So there are topics being posted in General and Deep Discussions, but I think you would see a lot more traffic if there was a specific thread designated to news, and this would leave open those two threads for off topic discussions .

I would like to post about a lot of different things happening in the news today but I don't want to appear like I'm spamming those two threads with strictly news stories, and to be honest, I just pick Deep or General out at random. It seems they are used interchangeably to me.

I think this would be a good fit. And as the only moderate conservative on the board, I think it would show DBZF's standards for inclusion of all people. :) - That last part was a joke.

Okay, just a suggestion

Sort of like an eternally cycling thread that adds new subject matter as it occurs?

Might be a good idea to revive the old world affairs sub forum (or whatever it was called). Or maybe a politics subforum could be an idea.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I like the idea of a World Affairs sub-forum, even if I won't use it that often. I think there are quite a few members here who enjoy debating politics, so it probably deserves a sub-forum of it's own.

I agree with having a world affairs sub-forum in either Talk About Anything or Deep Discussion. Not that I will ever use it but it would be good for those who are.

Yeah. I don't plan on to post Trump article after Trump article, although I'm sure there could be a lot of threads regarding that, but anything that is currently happening. I would hope others do the same. I'd even be game to discuss Theresa May since this is a UK board. I like watching her PMQ's, lol.. Though I'm not a fan of Corbyn really. Sorry, off topic.

But yeah, I'd think it'd be a good addition
