Should ssjb be stronger than ssjg?

Correct me if I'm wrong but for the anime people have something like a 2000-4000x base power or something around there? Much smaller than ssjg

In the manga I think most people agree that base goku didn't gain ssjg power level. So ssjb has a higher multiplier than ssjg

Which do you think is more fitting?

On one hand... The anime makes sense because ssjb is just...ssj with God ki, no?

On the other... The manga makes sense because he's turning into a god. Super saiyan God didn't have anything to do with ssj. It was just a saiyan who was a god. This is a super saiyan who is a god. Naturally it should be stronger

What idea do you like more? Should ssjb just be higher than ssj3? Which is pretty strong. Or should it be this crazy high form even stronger than ssjg?

It only makes sense to me if it's the highest/strongest form thus far, even surpassing Super Saiyan Red. Goku used it to gain an edge on Hit, and he used it against Zamasu in a recent chapter rather than simply going Red.

The only problem facing it is the power of Super Saiyan Red/God. Goku got a gigantic boost from Red the first time he used it, so that would imply Blue would grant an even larger boost, but the Universe 6 tournament would imply otherwise. Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta at less than 10% power was somewhere around Super Saiyan Goku's power going by their fights with Hit. That would insinuate about a 10x multiplier from Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan Blue, making Super Saiyan Red somewhere in between...which is hardly the hundred-thousand times boost it granted against Beerus.

I have SSJG 5,000,000xbase and SSB 7,500,000xbase. There isn't any indication that the power works different between the manga and the anime.

Didn't that have to do with vegeta not knowing about his time skip?

Edit:

Vegeta 1
Ssj vegeta and goku 50
Hit ~50
Ssjg goku 5,000,000
Ssjb vegeta 25,000,000
Ssjb vegeta against hit 2,000,000

That doesn't work lol

Hit was holding back the entire time so who's to say he didn't raise his power while fighting vegeta? Why does hit against ssj goku have to the same power against Ssjb vegeta?

Vegeta didn't know about the time skip, but he was still weak enough to get battered.

I tried to run with that at first to make things easier, but it doesn't make sense for Goku to go into battle with someone he knows is dozens or hundreds or thousands of times stronger without even transforming first.

He could've been raising his power during the time skip against vegeta. How would goku know then?

Edit: he should've done that against goku then too...dam

So is there any way for this to make sense??

The only way to make it work is to have small multipliers for the Super Saiyan forms, otherwise Super Saiyan Blue ends up ridiculously weak compared to Super Saiyan Red, and we know that's not the case.

It's almost like you need GT-esque multipliers to fit the 10% thing in. I'm working on a list right now that uses 10/2/2/5/10 for the forms and it makes sense, but then I look at Red Goku when he first appeared and he's so much stronger. But of course, that doesn't work for the anime because of Zamasu's line about Goku getting "dozens" of times stronger with Super Saiyan 2.

I was under the impression Goku had gained some of the God power, but going SSJG again was not possible. Or else he would have done so against Beerus again, even if tired.

He has the ability to use the form. He used it against Hit at first instead of going straight to Blue like in the anime.

If this is fixed by just having smaller ssj multipliers then I don't think it's a big deal. A lot of people have preferred using smaller multipliers anyway

The 50x base power for ssj only became a thing because of ssj goku against Frieza. And we know better nowadays there's more to ssj then a static number. Goku was pissed as f*** against Frieza so toriyama's 10x multiplier plus the rage he had Frieza works fine

Vegeta couldn't even bring out 1/10th of Blue's power. I don't know why everyone is operating under the logic that Vegeta's drained SSB has to be close to a tenth of it's original power just because Whis said a tenth. Any numerical value less than a tenth is valid. Everyone's overthinking it.

Goku: 1
SSJ Goku: 50

Hit(Suppressed): 45

SSB Vegeta: 10,000
SSB Vegeta(weakened): 70

Full power Hit: 4000

SSJG Goku: 7000

There isn't anything wrong with something like that.

If Blue is a 10x multiplier, yes, that would be the case. That leads into more bulls***, though, like why he'd choose Blue if he could simply use Super Saiyan and have the same power with less stamina drain. Or even get stronger with Super Saiyan 2, which can't be any worse than Blue.
