Hermaphrodite. But that's extremely rare. Generally speaking, yes two biological sexes. Gender however is a different story. Much more complex. |

Well there's really no need for more. One male and one female needed to make a baby. |

Technically there are six sexes, one for each combination of chromosomes, the ones that aren't XX and XY are generally termed intersex, and for the most part they are rare compared to far more numerous male and female. For the most part though, there are generally 3, male, female, and intersex.

Two biological sexes. Male and female. Anything else is a chromosomal error. Maybe you mean genders? There are people who believe that there are dozens of gender labels, for whatever reason. |

I'm more or less referring to the chromosomal errors as you put it, as sexes more or less. Though in practical conversation it is more or less male, female, and intersex (who will often choose one of the two). As for gender as I see it is a mix of biology and culture, with some cultures even believing that women become more like men and men become more like women as they get older, and such like that. Gender is a social construct and doesn't exist. So zero. There are two biological genders tho. |

Male, female, and the (very) rare intersexes. Other than that, and we might start triggering people if we go into gender labels.
