Majin buu is so powerful that nobody but the God of destruction and Angels were capable of stopping him. When he attacked the supreme Kais it was because he was following bibidi around. And buu has been alive since the beginning of time. Zamasu even knows about majin buu so maybe he's in other universes too Is he a force of nature like the gods of destruction are and his rampages are to maintain balance or something Do you think this is a possibility? I don't think it is because supreme Kai said(he was wrong according to toriyama but still) he was created by bibidi and old Kai never mentioned otherwise Still...a being who has been around since the beginning of time who lives to periodically destroy things seems like he's someone who's supposed to be there for a greater reason. Know m saiyan? Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Dec 22 2016, 04:50 AM.

Pretty sure no character in DB has any reason to exist besides having the plot keep moving alone. There's no deeper meaning behind why they live or why they do the things they do. Boo is just another obstacle in the series for the heroes to overcome until his fat and good-hearted version redeems itself. As for your question, no, he's not. The gods of destruction aren't either, they're far too evil and they destroy things whenever they want for the smallest reason, dumb as it may be. They could even destroy the universe without a care in the world if it wasn't for their mentors. You can't compare Boo or them with say, Galactus or Godzilla who also have god-like power in their respective universes,, but still have an in-universe reason to be there. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

I always thought Buu was just a gathering of negative energy. I can't remember if that was ever stated or if it's just my interpretation. |

It was probably stated in some guidebook. |
