I see this image being used,
Spoiler: click to toggle

but when I watch the episode, no such thing is said. Krillin just says that Goku is stronger than before, which wouldn't imply that Base Goku>BOG God Goku, but only that he is overall stronger than the last time that Krillin saw him.
Spoiler: click to toggle

I just want to make sure that I have the correct translations before making a power chain. Where was the statement in the first image said?

Come on man, if Goku is stronger than Krillin has 'ever' seen him, that means that Base Goku (RoF arc) > SSG Goku (BoG arc). It'd be completely pointless if he was talking about any other form of Goku.

I frankly don't see what's different about these 2 statements other than the way they're worded. If Goku is the "strongest he's ever seen him", that would mean he's stronger than Goku was after absorbing Super Saiyan God, and that was when he was fighting Beerus. In both cases, his base level is stronger than Super Saiyan God.

Could make sense that the statement means that Base Goku>SSJG Goku.

To give an example if Vegeta went into the Rosat, came out then afterwards someone said that he was stronger than ever, it wouldn't mean that Base Vegeta(Post rosat)>Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta(Pre Rosat), just that his overall power was greater than ever.

More concerned about the disparity in the translation, since the first image mentions Beerus, but the second doesn't. Not seeing how that would make sense if the same sentence was being translated.

It would if Vegeta had only displayed his new power in Base form, which is the case with Goku.

Krillin sensed SSJG Goku's power after he lost the form. When he reverted to SSJ everyone could sense him again, yet both Goku and Beerus acknowledged that Goku didn't get any weaker.

If that's the case, then why didn't Krillin say;

''He's stronger than I've ever sensed him in his normal state!'', or something along those lines? It'd be strange for the statement to not be more specific if that was the intended meaning.

The idea sounds right at the very least. I was more inclined to believe Base Goku being stronger.

I can't remember an instance where a specific form is mentioned whenever a character gets stronger generally stronger. That doesn't make sense. Only time such has ever happened is when a newly acquired form is the source of the power increase, like the case with SSJ2 Gohan.
