These kind of things always sound like a bad Mary Sue fanfic, but maybe it'll be OK.

I'll give you this, the artwork is almost spot on from the original manga, judging from the first raw. Like if anything I will give it that. Like if the art is all by the same person, it's amazing the transition of the "normal world" art so to be speak and the 'Dragon Ball Universe" art. Like I"ll give praise where it's deserved, this has an appearance (art wise at least) that looks as if Toriyama was part of it, or at the very least, the anime designs. With that said...yeah it looks kind of stupid. It sounds like a huge, self insert Fan fiction where the writer puts themselves in the place of the character. However it also seems like a harmless little what if story. It's not like this is minus where not only are they butchering the characters and lore, but acting like its canon. This is, just from the original concept alone, easily supposed to be just a fun little what if story. Whether or not I like it, I can't really hold anything against it. Unless it just becomes, completely inappropriate to the DB universe. Who knows, maybe Yamcha...or random a*** high school student...will turn it into an interesting series where we get to see the alternate universe where Yamcha is actually kind of cool. |

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Well the concept is certainly unique I guess I was surprised that the art was so dead-on.

If we were to have a Yamcha spin-off, I'd rather have it showing him when he was a desert bandit, not whatever this is. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

But there'd be no redeeming qualities about him. Why would we want to read about that douche nugget? |

Why wouldn't we? Villains tend to be more interesting plus we could learn more about him and that wolf technique of his. And Puar, let's not forget about him. How did Yamcha end up in the desert? What drove him to become a bandit? Where are his parents? Questions like those aren't just simply left unanswered. Edited by Darker, Dec 12 2016, 02:53 AM.

So it's someone in Yamcha's body? Hmm, could be good. I'm looking forward to this though. Yamcha is the best. |

Admittedlt this seems like a funny little oneshot. Character is literally doing a self insert but they're completely upfront about it. Kinda reminds me of Mystery Dungeon from Pokémon in a way. Just wake up as a Z-Fighter and use what you've learned from your favorite comic book to kick some a***. This actually looks more enjoyable than Dragon Ball Super. |

the concept was stupid. of all the ideas for a side story/spin off... geez and then i read the raw chapter lol. looks stupid, funny, and awesome at the same time like nagito said. looks like yamcha is getting his potential unlocked by guru. wonder where goku is though its just a fun what if story its not even written by toriyama. theres no harm in it |

It's a neat idea, but they don't seem to be doing anything with it. They say Yamcha will go train with Goku at Roshi's, then just skip it entirely. |
