Cell, not Freeza, is the biggest piece of s*** in all of Dragon Ball.

Yes, I know Freeza was monstrous but Cell was an actual monster. At first I considered they pretty much equal in terms of nastiness... both unrepentant, evil bastards who managed to push two of the most good-natured characters (Goku and Gohan) to their limits. However there is something that sets them apart...

Freeza was power-hungry but he enjoyed his powers more for what it gave him in return (wealth, fame, greed) and loved his papa while Cell only wanted power for power's sake and had nobody (he respected Gero but only because he created him). Also unlike Freeza, Cell had no long-term goals.. Cell wasn't a mindless killing machine like Majin Boo... he was well aware of what he's doing is wrong but he does it anyways because he could. He just wants to see the world burn.

Heck, the whole reason he announced the Cell Games was to spread terror and the human Z-Warriors (and Trunks) were even flipping him off:

Yeah. Frieza was a ruthless ruler but cell was the devil. He wanted to prove himself as the greatest and to watch the world burn

But I feel like King piccolo was worse, no?

But I think his main motive was also to just wreck the world like cell right?

Isn't Gero the biggest piece of s*** for creating Cell?

You know, you're right! Gero was a bitter, jealous old f***. He's the reason Cell became that way.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

We didn't really know much about Gero's background unfortunately. King Piccolo wanted to slowly destroy the world, and rule with an iron fist. Basically, a Goku Black kind of style hunt and kill vs. a Super Boo style massacre.

Well, I think that Freeza dominating planets and ruling the universe was pretty bad. Gero created a power hungry creature, and we have to remember that Cell is technically a cyborg or like a bio-android. It's weird, it's complex, and it's hard to separate what was Cell and what was programming. He did say he was programmed to kill Son Goku, but, "there's little point to that now". He did just want to spread terror, but, what part of him was that? Was it really Cell? Or was it the dominating nature of Freeza, and ruthlessness of the Saiyans? And the fact that he was never raised by anyone, but programmed to destroy. He had no concept of wealth or greed, or he would have been enslaving people and destroying entire civilizations like Freeza.

Still gotta stick to Freeza being the biggest piece of s***. He wasn't programmed, he was raised to be an a***** and had many chances to repent. He didn't. Goku gave him at least two.

Yeah I always thought this.

I mean Gero intended for Cell to go out there and start absorbing humans.

Freeza: enjoys killing People/making them suffer (even his soldiers). most of times when he has a goal like Immortality or Revenge.

Cell: kills people for his perfection/power. after getting it he would just want an exciting fight. (just like Goku).

i still say that Freeza is the evilest of the two. imo.

Right. Cell thought there was little point to killing Son Goku even though that was what he was built to do. He was far more obsessed with absorbing enough humans to overpower and absorb #17/#18 and become perfect. I don't think he even knew what the hell to do after Goku was killed. Just finish off Earth, was the plan. Then blow things up like Boo, aimlessly. Freeza had an agenda and was referred to as a "he" not an "it" like Cell.

After Cell killed Son Goku, why did he have an evil drive? The other androids didn't.

It's because of the blood of Freeza and Cold, combined with the ruthlessness of the Saiyan. That would have been the instinctual drive had he succeeded and "won" the Cell Games.

i think it was the humiliation he received from Gohan maybe plus Cold/Freeza cells.
