Basically, in the anime, Goku absorbed Super Saiyan God's power, so as a Super Saiyan during that battle with Beerus, he was equal to his previous Super Saiyan God power.
SSj Goku (end of BOG) = SSG Goku (BOG)
The Resurrection of Freeza arc takes place a few months later, so that's more training for Goku and Vegeta under Whis. It's stated by Krillin during the Freeza fight that Base Goku's power is even higher than when he fought Beerus (i.e. higher than when he was a Super Saiyan God previously).
Base Goku (ROF) > SSG Goku (BOG)
Once Freeza is defeated, the Universe 6 arc begins. Goku and Vegeta train all-out in the RoSaT for 3 more years. Whether that's a huge gain to you or not doesn't really matter, since by this point they've left Goku's BOG Super Saiyan God power far behind.

Unless you're suggesting he took the monstrous SSJG boost, surpassed it with his Base, but is still able to use that same absurd boost again on top of a form that already surpasses it, which doesn't make a lick of sense and would make Goku and Vegeta even more ridiculously haxed than they already are.

That's completely baseless. His SSJ = SSJG in the BoG arc then he has 3+ years of training after that. Krillin and Gohan could sense his Base power against Freeza and outright stated it was the strongest they'd ever seen him. And because they could sense him, that means no God ki if the two-base theory is what you're getting at. There's nothing special or different. It's just his plain Base form.
Edit: Not to mention his post-God SSJ2 power is stated to rival a God of Destruction which is somewhat vague, but it tells us everything from his Base power up is unusually strong. And since his Base is > SSJG, so are his SSJ forms.

I don't believe he was using god ki in his base form, if he was it would be Super Saiyan god. Yeah it's just plain base form, even if saiyan beyond isn't real it still doesn't mean that Goku's Super Saiyan god in the Universe 6 would be weaker than his Super Saiyan. This is a pointless argument and neither us are going to change our minds.

So you're saying the gap between his pre-God Base and SSJG is the same gap as his current Base (which is stronger than initial SSJG) and the SSJG he used in U6 is the same? In other words:
Base Goku pre-God: 1
SSJG: 1,000,000 (for simplicity's sake, probably a lot higher than this)
U6 Base post-God: 2,000,000
SSJG: 2,000,000,000,000
So he got SSJG as basically Gohan's ultimate powerup on a much larger scale, yet can re-use the SSJG boost on top of power than exceeds SSJG.

It sounds to me as if Gohan could go Ultimate on top of his Ultimate power, which doesn't make any sense.
