I see a vast majority of female profiles these days stating "do not message me with just a 'hey' or 'what's up.' I won't respond if you can't carry on a conversation." Yet..... When messaging a man, quite a large portion of these women break the ice with: "Hey :)" or "What's up? :)" What's the deal with this circumstance?

Hypocrisy and lies make up about 90% of modern dating, from all genders.

So blanket statements, even the one I made, are just unfair.

Being a horny teen I totally just wanted to get in their pants anyway but at least I started conversations...

There are also women who state they're looking for a serious relationship, yet all they want is to "have fun." There are also two sides to that coin as well.

They are doin this in everything. They want men to be honest and loyal (I am talking about casual loyalty, not cheating and stuff). They want their partner's maximum trust. And what they give us ? Hiding back the truth, not being 100% honest and a couple of more. Thats how they work in most cases . There are exceptions though.

I get that everyone gets burned a few times or can find dating hard or tiring but adopting nasty generalisations only traps yourself in the rut, it doesn't help you or the women you might try to be with. I'd argue men are just as likely to hide things and not be 100% honest in relationships as women are. I'd be happy to put money on it in fact.
