AI is INCOMPETENT in Xenoverse.

I love the game and enjoy it very much even though I haven't played Xenoverse 2 yet. But the thing that really annoys me and gets on my nerves is the AI. They're so powerful as cpus, but whenever AI is on my team in battles, they literally don't do s***. 99% of the fight is all on me. What is the point of picking teammates if the game is just going to rely on me fighting and beating opponents ultimately? Seriously Bandai Namco, get some clue and real sense. Did you even fix that in Xenoverse 2 or not?

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

I agree with this. It makes it troublesome if you're doing offline missions because the AI partners do jack sh*t when you're getting the crap beat out of you.
I usually play offline because I'm not a super great player, so it spares me the embarrassment of having to face real people.

And no, they didn't fix it for Xenoverse 2. If anything, it seems almost worse.

Also AI partners don't seem to switch targeted opponents mid-fight, so you're basically on your own while beating up one character, and you have to finish the job on the other AI opponents because the AI partners rarely finish the opponents.
They only thing the AI partners are good for is holding the other AI opponents off for a little while. They rarely finish the job unless the AI opponent is very weak like a Saibaman or something.

It's not a problem with Xenoverse only. Actually, a lot of other games also suffer from this same problem. The reason is because, when the AI is with a Human player, it is most likely programmed to be the "Defender" and are programmed with the priority to wait and see how the player is doing against the opponents. In other words, it is programmed to be less "aggressive and less initiative" and let the Human player play and have fun rather than it taking out most of the opponents. The AI when it is in a team with no Human player is "more better and aggressive" because they are just programmed to "pick a target and go after them" and only escape if they are running low on health or if they are assigned to protect a "VIP" among their group.

Defender? Rofl... when I die later and they still have a lot of HP left, they defended me? More like made me lose! Silly cake, you can't have AIs being defenseless in Dragon Ball games, especially when it comes to more than 1 people fighting against you and your teammates. Xenoverse at this point, is almost not a playable game. Someone should really make a serious complaint about this to bandai namco or wake them up with a screwdriver.

That isn't the only problem we have with Xenoverse or Xenoverse 2. Super saiyan transformation is also moronic because it's suppose to raise your stats and let you deal more damage to opponents. It shouldn't be letting you use super or ultimate attacks 10-20 times. That's not how it even works in the manga or anime anyways.
