I know for sure I do, but there are different strains of Herpes. The herpes I speak of is the one that warts up randomly and without notice, contagious, and you probably aren't born with it. Also spreads easily when the wart is seeping or visible. Hard to get rid of and spreads to areas near it when picked or messed with. Spreads to other people during sexual contact. Can spread from genitals to mouth from what I hear. Other herpes types are non-transferable by normal means, like a cold sore. But i'm sure you already knew that. The herpes I have is plantar warts that I get occasionally after breaking the skin from rubbing my hands or feet on things. Another one that is more rare that I have, I only had it when I came into contact with my Ex. I had it for the duration of our relationship and it would get worse every time I touched her genitals and it would break out on the back sides of my hands. After we broke up, I haven't had it since. It took less than a month to clear up after she left. The weirdest s*** ever, and if you can tell me more about it I'd be willing to listen because there isn't a doctor in the world who knows about it. It's as if only she carried something that I wasn't immune to. |

What's worse is if you see someone you know, like an old teacher. |

Possibly. Depends how advanced the research and study is. Condoms are a killjoy, no matter how thin the box says they are. |

Stupid. Keep going. Those side effects aren't even severe. The end justifies the means here, dammit.

I'd say depression and other mood disorders is a pretty severe side-effect. |

I want to know what the problem with condoms is? Admittedly they aren't super comfortable, and when i say super comfortable i mean at all rwally. Takes some work. That said, embarassing? What are you guys twelve? If im buying a box of condoms, that says I'm getting laid. What is embarassing about that? Are you embarassed that you're being serious about your pleasure and sexual health? Who the hell cares if you wee an old teacher? "Hey Mrs Jackson, how are you?.... me? I'm fine really. Finished University, working on med school, drinking alchohol and responsibily having sex. Yes its mildly awkward mentioning this but, hey I'm clearly more concerned about getting laid so... yeah." I mean i may be a bit more jaded being a father and all, but after almost 3 years of bed time stories, diaper changing and making airplane noises to get someone to eat, yeah i'll bring a pallette of condoms to the target register even if Natalie Portman is ringing me up. Dead serious, explain the stigma please. If nothing else why not just go to your local Fascinations or order the things online? I'd feel even sillier trying to pick up my birth control pills or a urethral injection of sorts. |

Strangers thinking about me having sex? Yeah, no thanks. I get my mum to buy them for me instead. |

Lol it was mostly a joke, it's not like I'd not buy them just because I had to be served by someone. Though I find talking about sex with strangers weird in general so going through a checkout still feels a bit awkward even now but it's not like it's actually a big deal. The bigger issue with condoms is that they are uncomfortable and I never like the feeling of wearing one. If there's an option of being able to avoid them then I'd be all over it (though only in a relationship scenario, no way I'd risk it in any kind of casual fling). As for those side effects, it depends how severe they are. Aren't those similar side effects that women get with the pill? Seems a bit hypocritical to expect women to put up with it when we can't. |
We'll never be those kids again
