Or maybe it's a luck of the draw type thing where you're just put into the world as a baby and just, whatever happens happens.

I personally find it to be ridonkulous to want to do that, but eh. If life were to be a simulation, then, from personal experience, it would have to be something to where we have no recollection of our actual body. Whether that's done via temporary mind-wipe or permanent mind-wipe would be pretty cool to discuss about, as well as the possibility of some experiment done to re-do the personality of those that engage in it.

Or that anything in the world past and present that happened outside of my own first-hand account actually happened.
