Krillin was already ahead of Yamcha at this point and Yamcha hadn't started his training under Kame-Sennin yet. Blue: 40 Yamcha: 31 Blue is too tough for Yamcha imo.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Like the others have mentioned, Krillin was at a disadvantage against Blue during their brief fight. His only successful hit was achieved via afterimage feint. Yamcha should pose no issue.
