It wasn't as amazing as some of my friends painted it imo, but still enjoyable. I feel a lot of things were left unanswered, which I guess can build the bridge into a second season if that does happen -- haven't checked if season 2 has been confirmed or not.

It also reminded me of the movie The Bridge to Terabithea (SP).

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Just finished this yesterday or so. I thought it was awesome, next to garbage like American Horror Story it was a masterpiece, even if it didn't dip too far in to the "horror" genre. Liked how it wasn't all super predictable, as with any show most of it was but some things were nice and surprising. The setting was on point too at no point did it seem like it was filmed in modern day...aside from the camera quality of course. Even the characters were fairly decent only Lucas(I think) and Nancy were annoying I thought. Not my favourite show of 2016 but can't wait for season 2. Some classic 80's goodness with a sprinkling of X-Files is just what I needed. That said not sure where the series goes after this. More demogorgans? Or something entirely different?

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Why in hell is nobody talking about Stranger Things gosh dangit? Great series so far, just finished the 5th or 6th episode. Trying to pace ourselves a bit. So far I'm liking it just as much as the first which is awesome since normally things lose their magic pretty fast. Looove the visualization of the Upside Down, there's something so unsettling about it and...the thing that's in the trailers. Damn. Great to see Will more this season, that kid is going places(the actor) As for spoilers The Mind Flayer is so damn cool. At least I'm sure that's what it's called given the episode title. I'm mildly disappointed it's a big smoke thing rather than just a huge feckin tentacle creature but it's still damn creepy. Dammit Bob, you're great but your advice was s***. Once again, don't mess with Joyce Byers. If I had any real complaints for this season as of episode 6...Eleven is kind of annoying this time around. I get why but it feels like she's just kind of been a brat this whole season. Obviously it'd kinda suck if she just swooped in and fixed everything going on with Will but it feels like she should be involved, her insight in to the Upside Down would be mighty handy. Max is pretty cool also, hope her dickhead brother gets eaten or something. Great stuff so far anyway, I hope by Season 3 it isn't too burnt out. Kind of hoping it moves away from Hawkins and does a different story, hopefully in the same world but far apart. And then obviously we need to revisit Hawkins at some point.
