What will you do when you get old?

Anyone else have extreme earwax buildup? It's so bad to the point where I have to flush my earwax out with peroxide and warm water once every week, sometimes two weeks or my hearing becomes total crap. I should probably go to the doctors about it but that cost money.

Anyone else have this issue?

Can't say I've ever had that issue. I need to clean my ears everyday but I wouldn't call it a problem.

Earwax is produced by glands in the ear canal and traps dust and other stuffs so that they can't infect or damage the eardrum. So I'd be careful about cleaning them too thoroughly because that's like removing all your protection. Do you experience any spinning sensations? Problems with balance? hearing problems? You could look into buying some over-the-counter wax softening drops like Debrox before seeing a doctor.

Don't experience any of that, just loss of hearing if I let it go more than a week. It's quite a bit, when I flush my ears globs of it come out.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I have earwax build up issues. Not as bad as yours, but there always seems to be something there if clean it with some tissue paper wrapped around my finger, and I don't even have to go that deep with it. I get paranoid that it's visible, but I've asked a couple people and they've said it isn't.

It did get very bad at one point a couple years back. My hearing was affected, and if water even touched it then it would end up getting blocked for a few hours where my hearing was extremely muffled (I went swimming once and it was like that for a couple days). Went to the doctor and they syringed my ears. A ridiculous amount of wax came out. Didn't even know it was possible to have that much in there. I would suggest that, but healthcare is free where I live, so not sure how much that would cost for you.

"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

Wouldn't cost me much to do that because I have health insurance through the company I work for, but the issue is that the closest doctors office on the insurance policy is an hour and a half drive away when traffic is light.

I don't care much about people seeing it, mostly because I'm not self conscious, but also because I have long hair.

No, it doesn't pour out my ears, it just clogs my ear canal. Sometimes when I run out of toilet paper I use my hai-nvmd...

Dude yeah I've been having bad earwax issues too. I've been trying to clean them in the shower.

Use a cap full of hydrogen peroxide, let it sit in your ear for 15-20 mins, then flush it out with warm water
