Why do they only, (supposedly), come out at night and stuff like that. Why bother "haunting" people? Like I get that Demons may be creatures not of this dimension etc, but like ghosts are people right, so surely they'd be the same in themselves.........but a bit more ghosty, if that makes sense.

Ghosts are incredibly lonely creatures and the supernatural events we call "hauntings" is just them trying to reach out to the living world. Researchers have found that our bodies switch over to a more vigilant mode at nights to make us more reactive to cues that signal potentially threatening events. (#evolution) So it's not that they only come out at night it's the fact that we are more susceptible to their calls for attention due to our night time vigilance. When our last cat died, she still lingered on in our house until she had said good-bye, which was in about an even and a night. I remember so well one evening (shortly after our cat died) when I sat at the PC, I suddenly heard a clawing on the carpet behind me, that kind of clawing cats do. But I wasn't scared, I knew who it was. And I tell you, we had no other cat at that moment/time. So yes, I do Believe in ghosts etc and I do Believe that if people knew they existed, the World could be quite different indeed.

Whether it's the spirits of our dead or completely different beings, knowing wouldn't do much good. It would be good for trying to commuincate with lost loved ones but, it could also bring about the threat of having a malevolent force pretend to be said loved one and make your life a living hell, literally. At this point in humanity, I think we have to accept the fact that there is something with us that isn't of human nature. There's countless amounts of evidence proving the existence of some sort of spiritual power. All that's left now is for it to be confirmed.

"Photoshop" "Lies" "They're just crazy" "Mass hysteria" "Illusion" "Dream" "Prank" There's always an excuse and certainly they're probably right 99% of the time. I suppose it could bring about fighting but then...it could also bring peace couldn't it? We'd know there's an other side, the fear of death would be alleviated greatly. Maybe people wouldn't be as needy and angry knowing that they're on highly limited time. Although assuming Hell is real then that's not going to be inspiring to say the least.

Knowing what happens after death kind of takes away from the value of life. We really don't know what happens and that's what makes life worth living. We do as much as we can in our lives so that we won't have to worry about what comes after. It's a complex situation where it could bring peace and chaos at once and that's an odd combination. You have the relief of knowing yet, the fear of what may come with it. Humans are best left to being oblivious.

Chrome	I used to believe in ghosts when I was younger. But I became a lot more skeptical when I got older (and when I went from religious to agnostic). I'm still spiritual in a way so I do believe in some sort of energy. Just not full body apparitions and what not. The world would be very different if it knew ghosts existed. But for some reason I like the mystery element of not knowing.

Life both has its ups and downs etc. And although I know that Life can't allways be a bed of roses, I just at the same time wish that it wasn't so often a bed of thorns. And about what happens in Death, I personally have a very hard time believing that nothing happens at all. Plus, if we look at how Life and Death works overall. When things die, new life comes. It's the same with Alpha and Omega, it all keeps repeating, but in different ways, forms etc. I also feel and know that the soul is eternal, it never dies, it's just the physical body that dies.

I know many people that claimed they have came in contact with ghosts. I personally never have experienced anything I couldn't have explained otherwise by science. My weirdest experience is sleep paralysis. Other than that I haven't experienced crazy phenomena. If demons are real then well we are screwed. That is all I have to say on that.
