Broken Gears Background Information
In this blog, I'll be explaning what Broken Gears is mostly about.

The story takes place a little bit after modern times. It's a world where big industries rule the world and strong tyrannical dictators are the icon of every major city. One city in particular, Angel City, is ruled by a criminal mastermind known as Leonardo Morven. A tactical genius, Morven has Angel City in the palm of his hand, making money in sums nobody ever thought possible. The city, however, has hope.
A small group of elite soldiers known as the Broken Gears have joined under the leadership of the noble Kai in hopes of protecting their city from Morven's full power. Each fighting for their city as well as personal reasons, all of the Broken Gears seem to have things under control. That is, however, until a single man enters the city, a man by the name of Lance Arrows. Nobody seems to know anything about this strange gunman, except that Morven has branded him his next target.
Now the Broken Gears must move swiftly and get to this newcomer before Morven, and find out why he's so important to the ruthless leader's empire.

So there you have it. A taste of what to expect from Broken Gears. I'll continue updating this blog on the progress thus far. Expect the prologue soon. Comments are always, of course, welcome.

Background Info Coming Tomorrow
I was going to attempt to get the background information for my story up today, but I had a pretty busy day so I'll definitely be posting it tomorrow.

First Blog
I'll be using this feature for two purposes:
The one I might use it for a little bit is information on various things going on in my life. Whether it be work, school, or just anything I feel like talking about.
Mainly, however, I'm hoping to use this feature as a way to talk about my upcoming story I've been wanting to write for about a year now. I wrote the background information on this story last summer, but due to commitments to school I had to delay actually writing it. And, while I do have a full time job as long as I'm on summer vacation, I am hoping to have enough time to begin writing it in depth.
I'm not going to say much about the story right now, except that it's my own creation and I'm hoping to one day have it published (every writer's dream) as a novel. I'll be posting the background information as well as the title of the story here soon, so check back often!
